Barnes and Sons have two branches situated just 2 miles apart at either end of Shepherds Bush, in the heart of a thriving, bustling, cosmopolitan community.
Centuries ago, this area was farmland known as Gaggle Goose Green. Over the years many wealthy families moved to the area and the Askew family owned a lot of the local land.
There are three lovely parks close by which are supported and maintained by local volunteers.
There are many attractions in the area, including the famous Shepherds Bush Market and the Shepherds Bush Empire. Getting around is easy, there is an underground station and a British Rail station close by, as well as several bus route going directly through the town.
Things to do and places to go:

* Shepherds Bush Market

* The Shepherds Bush Empire

* Brent Cross Shopping Centre

* Westfields at White City

We know that organising a funeral can seem like a daunting task, especially when we find ourselves having to make difficult decisions at a time of loss and bereavement, when we feel least able to manage.

You can trust Barnes & Sons to guide you through every step of the journey. We take great pride in being able to offer a 24 hour service, 365 days a year, providing advice on what needs to be done and by whom.

As part of the Lodge Brothers family who has over 230 years of experience, we have encountered nearly every situation. Our full downloadable ‘Guide to Arranging A Funeral’ has been prepared to give you an outline of the actions required by executors and others when planning a funeral, as well as giving you information on the wide range of services we offer.

Everyone is an individual, and there are many options available to help you create a meaningful, memorable and personal funeral day that honours the deceased.

If you prefer, our funeral arranger can visit you at home to discuss the arrangements.
